Since its concept, The Sun Album was always destined to be pressed onto wax. Well before the tracks were recorded, the stunning artwork by Hannah Bunn Illustrations, shows the soon to be debut vinyl record, floating through space.
This masterfully curated piece is pure eye-candy, gesturing towards an uplifting brightness, and includes a cheeky droste effect. From Side A to Side B, this record is designed both in art & in sonics, and is to be truly appreciated via a stylus needle.
This vinyl was mastered by none other than engineer Jon Astley at Close to the Edge, and it's laqcers were cut by a legend in the industry who's life revolves around cutting vinyl, Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios.
